    5Post is a popular and convenient Russian express delivery service.  

    Its principle is simple: any customer can purchase goods from online stores and receive them at the nearest chain supermarkets: “Pyaterochka”, “Karusel” or “Perekrestok”. The delivery to pick-up points is carried out by the 5Post courier service, which is part of the X5 Retail Group.

    This delivery service sends orders from the distribution center to the required pick-up point. Through SMS notifications, the buyer learns about the approximate arrival of the parcel to the pick-up point.  

    The shelf life of the shipment is from three to seven days. If necessary, you can use the insurance service, but only at some pick-up points.

    Branches and locations

    The company has 15 sorting locations plus 1 anomaly location. The main locations are in the Moscow region, Leningrad region, and Sverdlovsk region.

    Online stores collaborating with 5Post (part of the X5 Group) and PickPoint can organize delivery to 12,400 parcel terminals (of which 9,000 belong to PickPoint, 3,400 to 5Post) and 14,300 pick-up points (4,000 to PickPoint, 10,300 to 5Post) throughout Russia.

    The history of 5Post:  

    The company was created in 2018 and in 2019 it consisted of only 14 employees.

    On June 23, 2020, 5Post, a subsidiary of X5 Retail Group, which offers express delivery services, announced the expansion of the delivery area to “Pyaterochka” stores.  

    In June 2020, two distribution centers were included in the service’s logistics chain, which increased the number of points for receiving orders to 9,500.

    Also in June, the 5Post delivery zone included more than 100 additional settlements, including Chelyabinsk, Magnitogorsk, Troitsk, Samara, Togliatti, etc.

    On July 20, 2020, X5 Retail Group reported that 5Post launched a network of pick-up points (POIs). With their help, 5Post provide consumers with additional services:

    - Fitting,
    - Partial redemption,
    - Order checking,
    - Simplified return,
    - Delivery of oversized and large goods.

    At the beginning of July 2021, X5 Group and PickPoint announced the merger of a network of parcel terminals and order pick-up points. The companies agreed to create one of the largest logistics operators in the Russian Federation.

    - When placing an order in an online store, you must indicate “Pickup” as the delivery method and select the store closest to you - make sure you also write the correct mobile phone number to identify the customer at the pickup point.
    - The following payment options are available: prepaid order, cash, or credit card upon receipt.  
    - There are restrictions for goods ordered through the 5Post service: weight - no more than 10 kg, total dimensions of the order - no more than 40x32x55 cm.
