Track and Trace in China by China Post

Track and trace technology has significant value for both industry and society. For industry, track and trace solutions can solve quality management problems during manufacturing, improve product quality, and increase customer satisfaction. For society, it can prevent adverse effects from contaminated or defective goods. Therefore, both Chinese industry and the government are increasing efforts to promote the establishment of a reliable, safe traceability system.

You can track such parcels only before export, or before transfer to the postal operator. In the country of the addressee, they are usually not tracked. But it also happens that China Post sends parcels as registered shipments with track numbers R ...... CN, L ...... CN. In this case, users can track the path of the parcel not only to China Post but also throughout China and the country of the addressee.

In certain situations the parcel can stay untracked but this usually changes fast. The shipment or packaging can be stuck in a hub without any significant changes. In case you have doubts or you seem unsure, do not hesitate to drop China Post a line asking for information you can not see online. Alltracking system receives the changed or updated data immediately, but if you feel like you need a more detailed report, consider contacting Customer Support team.

Once you have filed the dispute, then it becomes the seller’s duty to prove that the parcel has been successfully delivered to the customer.

If they can not show such proof in a specific period, the money will be refunded to the customer.

In most case when you file a claim about a damaged or lost item the company should be able to refund you – fully or partially, depending on each separate case. Please remember that the investigation must first take place.

Note: No compensation shall be made for lost packages caused by force majeure factors such as natural disasters and wars.
